Kamel Rezig participates in the 16th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development in Geneva

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, will take part, starting Monday, in the 16th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), which will be held from October 20 to 23, 2025, at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

Under the theme "Deciding the future: acting for a fair, inclusive, and sustainable economic transformation," this conference is one of the most important global economic events organized by the United Nations every four years.

This international meeting will bring together heads of state and government, as well as ministers of foreign affairs, finance, trade, and economy, representing the 195 member countries of UNCTAD, besides leaders of international organizations, renowned economists, Nobel Prize winners, representatives of civil society, development banks, and global financial and trade institutions.

Participants will discuss the main economic challenges of today and major global trends in trade, finance, investment, and technology.
