Electricity Industry: Imports reduced by 30%

Speaking at a conference on “national integration at the heart of Sonelgaz’s strategy,” Aoun said companies in this business segment have helped kick-start the export of some local electricity products to several countries, mostly in Africa, APS reports.

In this regard, Mr. Aoun called on industry stakeholders to improve their production capacity and promote national integration to create “promising opportunities.”

Furthermore, Mr. Aoun welcomed the efforts made by the departments of his ministry, sanctioned by the signature of a framework agreement which had enabled the signature of a partnership agreement between the subcontracting markets and Sonelgaz group.
