Domestic Airlines: First Algiers-Tamanrasset flight to be launched tomorrow

In a press release issued on Friday, Domestic Airlines announced the launch of its first scheduled flight between Algiers and Tamanrasset next Monday.

This inaugural flight will be operated by a Boeing 737-800, according to the press release, which states that the regular Algiers-Tamanrasset flight is part of national efforts to promote balanced development across the country and to implement the government's policy of strengthening domestic air transport services and facilitating citizens' mobility to the southern provinces.

This regular flight is also part of "a strategic public service mission that meets citizens' mobility needs and strengthens air links between different regions of the country, thereby supporting national integration and contributing to the government's efforts to develop the national air transport system," the same source continues.

With the launch of this flight, Domestic Airlines reaffirms its commitment to implementing the guidelines set by the country's highest authorities by providing a high-quality air transport service.

As a reminder, Domestic Airlines was created to strengthen air transport services between the country's various provinces and support socio-economic development, following the transfer of ownership of Tassili Airlines to Air Algérie, which was finalised this month.
