Customs: develop the customs apparatus and modernize it further

The Algerian Customs DG also inaugurated the new headquarters of the regional customs directorate, located in the public facilities area in the capital of the wilaya of Ouargla.

 Noureddine Khaldi also inaugurated, still in the capital of the wilaya of Ouargla, the headquarters of a Customs subdivision with various administrative offices spread over three floors.


He also chaired a signing ceremony of a partnership agreement between the Regional Customs Directorate of Ouargla and Kasdi Merbah University, providing for the creation of a scientific customs laboratory at the university level.


The objective of this convention is to strengthen training, noted Mr. Khaldi, stressing that "the modernization of the customs administration cannot be conceived without interaction with scientific institutions".


The working visit of the DG of Customs to Ouargla also gave rise to a ceremony organized in honor of the family of the chahid of duty, customs officer Mohamed Tatti, whose conference room of the Regional Customs Department now bears the name. .


Also honored were retirees from the customs administration, as well as customs officers on the occasion of the celebration of International Women's Day.At the end of the first day of her visit to the wilaya, Nouredine Khaldi inspected the Customs school in Ain El-Beida (Daira de Sidi-Khouiled) as well as the medico-social center.

The Director General of Customs will preside over the graduation ceremony for a class of customs officers at the Customs School in Mekhadma, in the wilaya of Ouargla, on Wednesday.
