Foreign trade in Annaba: Port activity is on the rise

This upward trend in export operations at the port of Annaba is due to the series of positive incentives and support measures taken by the various partners and bodies involved in exporting and promoting it. This double-digit growth in the Annaba Port Corporation (Epan), ranked first in non-hydrocarbon and third in non-oil exports, reflects the determination of port officials to stay on course of such increase. The analysis of activities, according to intensification methods, also showed an increase in the category of liquid bulk, by 28.67%, compared with the same period of the previous year. In fact, this increase is due to the increase in ammonia export activity of + 12.52%. The same result is achieved in the liquid raw material category, which reached a volume of 4.167 million tons, +86%, an increase of 26.63% compared to the same period last year.
