Air Algérie CEO Hamza Benhamouda described the arrival of the new Airbus A330neo as a historic moment for the airline. This acquisition is part of a ten-year modernization program that includes the purchase of eight long-haul aircraft. The aim is to strengthen the fleet, improve services, open new routes, and transform Algiers airport into a strategic hub between Africa, Europe, and Asia. He also stressed the importance of staff training as an essential lever for the success of this transformation.
