The new Exhibition Centre, scheduled for completion in December 2023, is considered a strategic project to support Algeria's economic growth. Ms Amel Abdellatif emphasized the need to accelerate work and meet deadlines, highlighting the importance of this infrastructure for hosting major business and trade events.

The main hall, with a surface area of 30,000 m², will be equipped with modern technologies, including intelligent management systems integrated into a “Smart Building” structure. It will also feature a 60,000 m² underground car park on two levels (capacity: 1,880 vehicles), around 10,000 m² of conference rooms, a VIP area, and a spacious esplanade at the entrance.

Although no official delivery date has been announced, the inauguration is expected in the coming months, with the first use planned for the 2026 edition of the Ecsel Expo trade show. The Ministry of Internal Trade is now providing ongoing monitoring of the construction site.
