AAPI warns against fake documents demanding undue payments

The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) has issued a warning in a press release about the circulation of fraudulent documents attributed to its services, inviting citizens and project developers to pay alleged “registration fees.”

The Agency states that it has not issued any such documents, asserting that the documents in question have no connection with its structures, are of no legal value, and do not bind it in any way.

It reiterates that all its correspondence and official documents are distributed solely through the official channels of the AAPI and bear the authenticated signatures and stamps of the relevant departments.

Finally, the AAPI emphasizes that it reserves the right to take legal action against any person or entity found guilty of identity theft or falsification of documents in its name.
