Developing human skills, a priority

On Wednesday, Laaziz Faid underlined the Ministry of Finance's commitment to making the development of human skills in the financial sector a “central priority”.

At a strategy meeting, Finance Minister Faid stressed the importance of skills development in the financial sector, encompassing banking, insurance and financial markets. The proposed plan focuses on continuous training, executive specialization, adopting new technologies and strengthening digital and risk management skills. It also provides for academic partnerships and international collaborations to guarantee high-level expertise. Mr. Faid affirmed that this plan aims to anticipate market developments, enhance the attractiveness of the financial sector and improve its competitiveness. He stressed the need to optimize existing resources and invest in human capital as a key lever for ongoing economic reforms.
