Pharmaceutical industry: Kouidri discusses prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation with the Zimbabwean ambassador

ALGIERS - According to a statement from the ministry, the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Mr. Ouacim Kouidri, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Algeria, Mr. Vusumuzi Ntonga, with whom he discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly the export of Algerian pharmaceutical products to Zimbabwe and the establishment of an industrial partnership.

On this occasion, the two parties agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry, the press release states. The Minister underlined Algeria's readiness to meet the needs of the Zimbabwean market for pharmaceutical products and to establish an industrial partnership in this field in the service of common interests, according to the same source.

This meeting is part of the momentum in bilateral relations between the two countries following the recent official visit to Algeria by Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa. He learned about Algeria's capabilities in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly after he visited the Saidal Group's drug production facility in El-Harrach.
