GICA Group: necessary coordination between subsidiaries to achieve objectives

According to a press release from the ministry, the Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, called on the managers of the Groupe industriel des Ciments d'Algérie (GICA) ( Algerian Cement Industry Group) to strengthen coordination between its subsidiaries to achieve the objectives set by the high authorities, praising the significant progress made in recent years.

As part of his visits to industrial groups in the sector, Minister Mohamed Aoun visited the headquarters of the GICA group, where he was welcomed by CEO Rabah Guessoum and the company's executives. GICA, which has 21 subsidiaries specialising in cement, aggregates, ready-mix concrete, marble, red materials, and industrial maintenance, presented its main achievements:

 

-Manufacture of a ship-loading machine in Algeria with a national integration rate of 95%.

- Construction of five-grain storage silos in four provinces.

-Participation in tenders for two other silos in Jijel and Mila.


The Minister praised the Group's efforts and recent progress, stressing the importance of coordination between the subsidiaries to achieve President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's objectives. He reiterated his commitment to closely monitor the group's developments.
