ENIE is starting to manufacture components needed for solar stations

This project is part of the joint venture agreement signed on 14 December between ENIE and the Italian company for the production of photovoltaic inverters Fimer for the creation of "Fimer Algérie", specializing in the manufacture of inverters, switching units for solar power plants and control instruments for the photovoltaic energy industry.

The CEO of ENIE pointed out that this project is part of the diversification of the company’s investments aimed at establishing a new industry on the national market that will be responsible for the manufacture of components needed for solar stations, in the wake of the national strategy for the energy transition and renewable energies aiming to launch 1000 MWc per year by 2035.

It is planned to manufacture a wide range of inverters, Scada systems, PPCs, storage units, and advanced conversion units for large solar power plants and their accessories, with an integration rate that should reach 50% after the fifth year of operation, he added.
