A first in Algeria: Manufacture of a ship loader with a 95% national integration rate

Cement industry

The GICA group, a key cement producer in Algeria, comprises 21 subsidiaries specialising in various fields related to construction materials and industrial maintenance. Highlights include the local manufacture of a shiploader, with a 95% integration rate, and the construction of five-grain storage silos. The group is also involved in projects to build new silos in Jijel and Mila.

During his visit, the Minister praised the employees' efforts, urged better coordination between subsidiaries and continued efforts to achieve the President of the Republic's strategic objectives.
