The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures received Mr. Boukaila, President of the Algerian-American Business Council, to discuss bilateral cooperation and investment opportunities in this strategic sector.
Discussions focused on major infrastructure projects, including roads, ports and railroads. The Minister underlined efforts to modernize the Algerian rail network, aligned with the President of the Republic's national investment program. He also recalled the advantages and opportunities offered to foreign investors.
For his part, Mr Boukaila expressed the American companies' interest in this sector, underlining the favourable investment climate in Algeria. He stressed the potential for exchanging expertise and strengthening economic relations between the two countries.
