Rezig meets with the Minister of Agriculture of the Union of the Comoros in Addis Ababa

ALGIERS - The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, held bilateral talks on Tuesday in Addis Ababa with the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Handicrafts of the Union of the Comoros, Daniel Ali Bandar, according to a statement from the ministry.

On the sidelines of his participation in the 2nd Assessment of the United Nations Food Systems Summit (UNFSS+4) in Addis Ababa, the Minister, mandated by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held talks with his Comorian counterpart. Discussions focused on strengthening economic and commercial cooperation, particularly in Agriculture and trade. On this occasion, the Algerian Minister recalled the invitation extended to the Comorian Trade Minister to participate in the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), scheduled to be held in Algiers from September 4 to 10, 2025.
