The same official specified, in a statement to APS, that ONTA services have developed an outreach program to reach several municipalities in the wilaya, informing farmers of the new provisions introduced by this circular regarding agricultural land belonging to the private domain of the State, granted under various terms, including through concession agreements.
This program was launched at the end of July in Oued Endja, where a meeting was organized with a large number of farmers, allowing management officials, accompanied by various stakeholders in the agricultural sector, to explain the provisions of Interministerial Circular No. 2, in particular the formulas for exiting joint ownership and waiving concession rights, the same source added.
Similar meetings will also be organized in various municipalities to inform as many farmers as possible working in the Mila province about the content of this circular, whose provisions are part of the government's efforts to clean up agricultural land.
The local director of ONTA pointed out, in the same context, that the wilaya commission responsible for agricultural land reform was "recently" established and will be responsible for reviewing the various cases and deciding on them before the end of the current year 2025, following the instructions of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The same official concluded by stating that the commission has begun receiving applications from farmers to process them under the terms of Interministerial Circular No. 2 of June 1, 2025.
