The Algerian delegation, led by Boualem Bouadmaa, announced the preparation of five draft agreements between Algerian and Syrian operators, mainly in the agri-food (beverages, olive oil) and cosmetics sectors. Although Algerian construction companies were absent from the fair, the Syrians showed keen interest in building materials, and contacts were established for future partnerships.

Algeria's participation, with fourteen companies in strategic sectors, is attracting strong interest from Syrian operators, who are keen to renew historic ties and benefit from Algerian expertise, particularly in the context of Syria's economic reconstruction.

The energy sector, a key area for Algeria, also offers prospects for cooperation, with the Algerian Society for Electric and Gas Industries (SAIEG) initiating discussions with Syrian partners. The SAIEG is a public company that manages and develops the country's energy resources, including oil, gas, electricity, and mining. It is responsible for the production and distribution of electricity, as well as the management of the country's energy infrastructure. The SAIEG is also involved in the development of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power. It has established partnerships with companies in the United States.

Interest in Algeria's offering is reflected in the high number of visitors to the national pavilion, including professionals, politicians, and diplomats, underscoring the international impact of this initiative.

However, the realization of these opportunities remains hindered by technical obstacles, particularly banking procedures and payment terms, which must be overcome to enable genuine commercial momentum. The event is seen as a lever for economic and human rapprochement between the two countries.
