SEEDI makes exports a lever for diversification

Against a backdrop of accelerating economic change, marked by the public authorities' determination to redefine the national growth model, the Société d'Études Économiques et de Développement des Investissements (SEEDI) is organizing the first edition of the Algiers Conference on Export and Economic Development on June 30, under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion.

A strategic conference has been organized as part of the reforms initiated by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to diversify the Algerian economy and strengthen its openness to Africa. It brings together public players, experts, entrepreneurs, and researchers to assess export performance and identify competitive levers. The event highlights government support tools (customs simplification, tax incentives, financing, economic intelligence) and focuses on the opportunities the FTAA offered. The aim is to structure export industries (agri-food, pharmaceuticals, digital, etc.), strengthen SMEs and promote an export culture. This initiative aims to make exports an engine for sustainable non-hydrocarbon growth, based on productivity, innovation, and regional cooperation.
