30 farmers on mission to California: To acquire the Know How

“As part of the promotion of trade between Algeria and the United States of America, the US-Algeria Business Council with the support of the Algerian Embassy in Washington and the Economic Development Agency of Kings County in California will organize from 12 to 18 February 2023 a study mission in the agriculture and agri-food sector in the State of California,” explains the source.

The Algerian delegation, composed of around 30 farmers from different regions of Algeria, will visit agricultural production fields, dairy cow farms and artificial insemination farms, fodder production units and maize and alfalfa farms.

It will also visit a feed production unit, an agricultural equipment production unit including irrigation pivots, dry fruit production units, and packing units, adds the same source. The delegation will also have the opportunity to attend the largest agricultural fair in Tulare, California, and meet with U.S. entrepreneurs and farmers, the statement said.
