Maritime transport: CNAN connects Algeria to Slovenia

The company CNAN Algeria has announced the extension of the maritime route connecting Algeria to Croatia to include Slovenia, via the port of Koper.

In a statement, the Ministry of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport specified that this decision is part of efforts to strengthen international commercial maritime transport, improve logistical connectivity between Algeria and Europe, and implement the guidelines set out by the Minister for the sector, Saïd Sayoud.

The ministry emphasised that this extension aims to support trade, offer efficient transport solutions to economic operators and open up new export and import opportunities to European markets.

This initiative should help boost foreign trade and strengthen Algeria's logistical presence in Central Europe.
