Sonelgaz has paid particular attention to the electrical connection of grain storage facilities made available to the Grain and Pulses Cooperative (CCLS) in the wilaya of Tissemsilt. The centres in Layoune, Theniet El Had, Bordj Bounâama and Ammari have already been connected, at a total cost of over 2.1 billion dinars. The connection of the other centres, each with a capacity of 50,000 quintals, is currently underway. In addition, the province has benefited from seven local storage centre projects and a metal silo in Sidi Mansour (municipality of Khemisti) with a capacity of 200,000 quintals, aimed at strengthening local storage capacities.
