On Monday, Abdelkader Djellaoui chaired a working meeting dedicated to monitoring progress on the Annaba phosphate port expansion project.

This project includes the construction of a mining quay as part of the integrated phosphate complex project, according to a statement from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure.

This meeting is part of "the implementation of the instructions and directives of the President of the Republic, issued during yesterday's Council of Ministers meeting," the same source said. The meeting took place at the ministry's headquarters, attended by its senior officials, the directors-general of the National Agency for Port Infrastructure Development (ANRIP) and the National Agency for the Study and Monitoring of Railway Investment (ANESRIF), as well as a foreign company, in its capacity as chair of the consortium of construction companies, the statement concluded.
