Signed at the opening of the February vocational training session, this agreement aims to "bring training closer to the real needs of the automotive sector in a sustainable manner" by making the expertise of Stellantis' training department available to technical teachers and educational managers, in addition to enriching the training content and teaching materials used at the centre, with the possibility of welcoming apprentices on work placements within the Stellantis after-sales network, according to the same source.
The terms of the agreement also include support for the centre in developing the "mechatronics" specialisation (mechanical-electronic systems engineering), to facilitate access to this technical specialisation in the western part of Algiers.
As part of efforts to strengthen the practical training provided to trainees and modernise teaching tools, Stellantis El Djazaïr has donated four "latest generation" engines and four gearboxes to the centre.
