Sonelgaz: Two new power stations commissioned in Bordj Badji Mokhtar and Timiaouine

Sonelgaz announced the commissioning on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, of two 30/60 kV electrical substations in Bordj Badji Mokhtar and Timiaouine in the far south of the country. The public group explained in a press release that this operation is part of ‘the ongoing programme to develop the electricity networks and improve service quality in the southern wilayas’. The work was supervised by ‘a joint team of engineers and executives from Sonelgaz group companies’.
