Memorandum of Understanding signed between Sonatrach and Honeywell

This protocol was initialed, at the group headquarters, by central director "Procurement & Logistics" of Sonatrach, Daoud Mohamed and general director "North Africa, Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies", Meziane Ghaoui, in the presence of CEO of Sonatrach, Toufik Hakkar and CEO of Honeywell Middle East and North Africa, Mohammed Mohaisen.

 

This cooperation should "foster the prospects for the exchange of expertise and experience, in terms of improving performance and technological mastery of the Sonatrach facilities, through a win-win partnership vision", it was explained during the signing ceremony.

 

The implementation of this memorandum of understanding with Honeywell, "one of the largest suppliers" of Sonatrach, is part of the strategy for the development and modernization of Sonatrach's plants through the identification of the best technologies for carbon reduction and capture, digitization aimed at improving the operational efficiency of Sonatrach's facilities and mastering cyber-technologies, it was explained.
