An agreement has been reached to establish the first Cell Therapy Clinic in Africa and the Middle East in Sidi Abdallah. This strategic project will mobilize Algerian national expertise and involve cross-sector coordination between Labour, Social Security, and Health. It will aim to treat chronic diseases, including heart and respiratory conditions, and certain cancers using stem cell and immune therapies. The Minister of Industry, Sifi Gherib, emphasized the importance of this initiative in strengthening national health security, promoting technology transfer, and supporting scientific research.
