Salad oil: Opening of a new line to increase production

The new production line was commissioned at the Port of Algiers in the presence of the Minister of Industry, Ahmed Zeghdar, and the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig.

Speaking on that occasion, Mr. Zeghdar noted that

"The increase in the production of the company Mahroussa confirms the particular interest that the President of the Republic attaches to this project and to all the economic and strategic projects of the country", highlighting that the launch of this new line will favour the creation of new jobs to increase their number to 260 workers as well as the increase in production capacity from 130 to 400 tons/day, or about 25% of the demand of the national market.

Mr. Zeghdar visited the various pavilions of the company's salad oil plant and inquired about the progress of the expansion of production capacity, including the sauce production project, which is currently at 80% completion rate, insisting on continuing efforts to expand production work to meet the growing national demand for this product in the domestic market.
