President of the Republic: investment projects on schedule
ALGIERS-The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has indicated that investment projects are progressing according to plan, stressing that all the bureaucratic obstacles facing investors, particularly in terms of land, have been removed.
In his regular interview with representatives of the national media, broadcast Friday evening on national television and radio, the President of the Republic said that economic projects "are progressing as planned, with prospects mapped out to the end of 2025, 2027 and even to the end of the mandate, in line with the commitments made to citizens during the electoral campaign and on other occasions".
The President of the Republic affirmed that "80 to 85% of the objectives set in terms of investment and the revival of development" had been achieved, highlighting the importance of the investment projects recorded in several sectors, exceeding 13,000 projects across the national territory, many of which have been implemented.
The aim is to boost national production in all economic sectors, to reduce imports and encourage non-hydrocarbon exports, he explained.
The President of the Republic also praised the patriotism and probity of Algerian businessmen, recalling the recent decision to launch the "guichet unique" (one-stop shop) to remove obstacles in the land area.
