Under the patronage of the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry and the Ministry of Health, the event runs until Saturday and is expected to welcome nearly 11,000 visitors, according to the organisers.
Speaking on the sidelines of the opening ceremony, the director of the exhibition, Yacine Louber, said that this year's event, organised under the theme "The pharmacy of tomorrow", focuses on the sector's prospects for developing services that are more oriented towards prevention, digitalisation and personalised patient care.
The scientific programme includes conferences focusing on topics such as the outlook for the national pharmaceutical industry, best practices, oncology, optimising the use of medical devices, digitalisation and the contribution of artificial intelligence to the pharmaceutical sector.
Created twenty years ago, Siphal brings together pharmaceutical professionals to discuss issues related to production, regulation and technological innovations every year.
