Asked about Algerian-Mauritanian cooperation and its impact on the economic diversification strategy in Algeria, the analyst said that "with the new investment law, it will be a very great opportunity for cooperation with Mauritania in strategic areas.

Algeria can be a great support to Mauritania, because we have enough engineers and technicians specialized in the field of oil and gas,” he argued. Continuing his analysis, the expert says that "Algeria and Mauritania are determined to bring their relations to a level of strategic partnership". He adds that « Algeria can already supply Mauritania with various products, such as ceramics, pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs ...”.

He added that "with the implementation on the ground of the new investment law, we will be able to be a very important partner for Mauritania thanks to proximity and other advantages, such as the African Free Trade Agreement, which is a strategic instrument, aimed at supporting African economies, promoting their development and facilitating trade". This will generate significant growth for Algeria," he said.
