The Algerian National Order of Chartered Accountants officially joins the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC)

The National Order of Chartered Accountants of Algeria is pleased to announce its official membership of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), a worldwide organisation that brings together the professional accountancy bodies of more than 130 countries. This membership, obtained after a rigorous process, marks a historic step forward for the accounting profession in Algeria.

Algeria's membership of IFAC marks international recognition of the quality of Algeria's chartered accountants, to strengthen transparency, governance and the country's economic competitiveness. This step forward was celebrated at the Ordre's General Assembly in Algiers on 21 November 2024.

Greater international recognition: Joining IFAC opens up training, collaboration and professional development opportunities for Algerian accountants while enhancing financial transparency and economic sustainability.

Collective success: This success is the result of the combined efforts of the National Council of the Order, its members, staff and various institutional partners such as the Ministry of Finance and the National Accounting Council.
