President Tebboune calls for concrete measures to benefit the diaspora and the agricultural sector

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Sunday, devoted to several priority issues, including improving services for the national community abroad and revitalising the agricultural sector.

President Tebboune ordered the government to improve the reception of members of the Algerian diaspora at ports and airports, particularly during the summer, by setting up appropriate services and simplifying entry procedures for Algerian passport holders. On the agricultural front, he called for better results for the 2025 campaign than the previous year, and for restructuring the sector to increase efficiency. He also called for a detailed evaluation meeting at the end of the campaign to analyse the sector's performance.
