The Minister of Energy oversees electricity generation projects ahead of summer 2026

The Minister of Energy and Renewable Energy, Dr Merad Ajal, chaired an extended meeting on Sunday with senior officials from the Sonelgaz group, dedicated to monitoring electricity production projects and preparing for the summer of 2026.

The minister demanded a clear roadmap aligned with government priorities and focused on citizen satisfaction. He also instructed officials to accelerate work and ensure its quality, to boost electricity production and anticipate the needs of summer 2026.
