The COSOB (Commission for the Organisation and Supervision of Stock Exchange Operations) launched an electronic portal and a one-stop shop for the Algerian financial market during the 2nd Annual Financial Market Conference in Algiers. These tools are intended to simplify processes for companies and investors, support digital transformation and improve access to financial information.

The one-stop shop integrates key market players, including the COSOB, the SGBV (stock exchange) and banks, to support companies seeking to list.

A cooperation agreement has been signed between the COSOB and the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) to direct SMEs to these platforms and promote alternative financing options. A scientific council has also been set up to develop a strategic vision for the development of the financial market.

Finally, an addendum to the cooperation agreement was signed with the Tunisian Financial Market Authority to organise specialised training to improve the skills of local market players.
