The United States remains the main supplier of LNG to Europe, exporting 32.62 million tons in the first nine months of 2024, despite an 18.5% fall compared with 2023. By contrast, Russia recorded a 26.3% rise in exports in the third quarter, to 3.65 million tons. Algeria is in third place with 8.49 million tons exported, a stable figure despite a 17% fall in the third quarter. Qatar saw its exports fall by 38.3% over the same period. Norway and Nigeria also saw their export volumes fall.
