During the meeting, virologist Yahia Chebloune presented the project's objectives, the progress of preparations, and the research areas planned in partnership with the Saidal group. The project aims to meet the national market's needs for human and veterinary vaccines, enhancing Algeria's autonomy in this strategic area.

The working group, composed of 22 experts and representatives from several ministries and institutions—including National Defence, Pharmaceutical Industry, Health, Industry, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Agriculture, and the National Health Security Agency—illustrates the cross-sectoral nature of this initiative.
