Kamel Moula, President of CREA: “Algeria and Oman can build an integrated cooperation model”

In his view, the two countries “are capable of building an integrated model of economic cooperation”, on the strength of their natural resources, respective geostrategic positions and skilled human resources.

“In Algeria, we believe that effective partnerships are measured not just by the volume of trade, but by the ability to create shared added value”, he asserted. He emphasized that this approach aims to transfer knowledge, stimulate investment, offer employment opportunities and meet national needs, while opening up to other markets, particularly those on the African continent.

Moula also recalled Algeria's current assets: “a revamped legal framework for investment, modern infrastructures, and a strategic position between Africa and the Mediterranean”.

Confident in the potential of the country's productive fabric, Kamel Moula invited Omani operators to invest in Algeria, banking on the reforms underway and the prospects offered by the new investment law. He also welcomed the setting up of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the fair between Algerian and Omani businessmen, as proof of a shared desire to move towards concrete results. “The time has come to put our relations on a long-term footing, with ambition, method and the demand for measurable results”.

He concluded, "these elements “constitute an attractive environment to establish win-win partnerships”.
