GICA cement manufacturer obtains European CE certification

This concerns (GICA Moudhad) CEM I 42.5 N-LH /SR5, (GICA concrete- cement portland) CEM II/A6L 42.5 N and (GICA concrete) CEM II/A6L 42.5 R

This recognition comes after twenty months of careful examination by the Afnor association with the executives of the Ain El Kebira subsidiary.

By obtaining this marking, GICA group will be able to strengthen its presence on the European continent by exporting its cement production, after having penetrated the Italian, Spanish and British markets.

This recognition is in addition to the American Petroleum Institute’s certificate of compliance with standards for the production of petroleum cement used in the hydrocarbons sector, obtained in July 2019, which has enabled it to meet the estimated national demand of about 200,000 tons per year.
