The signing of a framework agreement between the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education marks a strategic step forward in aligning available skills with the concrete needs of investors. This agreement provides for the creation of an interoperable digital platform to identify, in real time, the skills required for declared investment projects. The aim is to transform vocational training into a responsive and targeted tool that serves the economy.
This system aims to improve the match between training and employment, streamline recruitment for companies, and enhance the employability of young people. It will also facilitate the monitoring of graduates and their orientation towards locally created opportunities. With more than 18,000 investment projects registered by the AAPI, the majority of which are job creators, this initiative seeks to ensure the success of projects while consolidating local skills pools. Some companies have already begun collaborating with training institutions to anticipate their needs, a dynamic that the platform intends to extend nationwide.
