During the meeting, the Minister of Finance emphasised the completion of the implementing texts for the 2025 Finance Act, stressing the importance of their preparation for the effective implementation of measures. He also highlighted the inclusion of objectives and performance contracts in the agendas of coordination meetings, focusing on transparency, efficiency, and quality of public services.

The General Directorate of Customs (DGD) contribution is crucial in this framework through four strategic objectives: securing revenue, improving the business climate, protecting the territory and citizens, and promoting organizational development and digital transition.

The Director General of Customs and his team presented the progress achieved in implementing the contracts, notably in combating smuggling and addressing concerns. An innovative planning system has been set up to monitor and evaluate contracts, enhancing the effectiveness of the DGD's strategic missions.

The Minister praised the DGD's approach and encouraged other structures to adopt this performance culture to improve coordination and exchange of best practices. The meeting reflects the Ministry's commitment to ensuring rigorous and transparent financial management.
