Energy and mining: ALNAFT obtains mining titles for seven perimeters

The Agence Nationale pour la Valorisation des Ressources en Hydrocarbures (ALNAFT) (National Agency for the Development of Hydrocarbon Resources) has obtained mining titles for the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons in seven perimeters, according to decree no. 25-112 signed by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on April 21, published in the Journal Officiel (JO) (Official Gazette) No. 23.

A presidential decree has approved the granting of mining titles for several exploration zones in Algeria, particularly the wilayas of Béchar, Béni Abbès, Adrar, In Salah, Tamanrasset and Timimoun. The areas concerned include "Dhraâ Kheima", "Erg El Aguiba", "Azzel Matti" and "Erg El Raoui", as well as "Mouiet Er Rebah", "Gharet Bou Saidet" and "Amasralad". A second decree validates the granting of concessions for the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons to Sonatrach on several blocks, including "Bordj Omar Driss Est" and "El Borma 2", by the ALNAFT agency.
