The digitization of the Ministry's various relevant departments is making clear progress, playing a decisive role in the country's economic dynamism for businesses and citizens. As part of the 2025 Finance Bill, the DGI has launched an online payment platform for vehicle stickers. This initiative aims to modernise tax services and simplify motorist procedures by allowing the online purchase of vehicle stickers starting in 2025.

Motorists can purchase car stickers  (vignettes) online, avoiding long queues and optimizing public resources. The service will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will also enable free instant reissue in the event of loss, theft or damage. This measure is part of a wider plan for the digital transformation of the Algerian administration.

The Minister of Finance highlighted that this measure would benefit new car owners and improve the user experience. Ms. Souhila Souilamas stated that this initiative, by digitizing and modernizing tax services, will reduce administrative costs and provide quality services to citizens.
