According to an announcement by Ramzy Trabelsi on Tunisian national radio, Tunisia will receive 75,000 tons of sugar from Algeria next week. These deliveries are in addition to the 21,000 tons already shipped last September, plus the 13,000 tons currently in stock in the Office Tunisien du Commerce warehouses.

Trabelsi pointed out that 70% of the sugar consumed in Tunisia is imported. In addition, more than 103 tons of sugar will be distributed shortly, a quantity deemed sufficient to cover the country's consumption needs for three months.
