Circular economy: 1st International Conference on 26 and 27 September in Oran

It's about adopting a model that relies on the optimal use of resources and the creation of appropriate cycles in the life of a product, from its design to its "reorientation", explains WTCA. Developed in partnership with the Algerian Center for Circular Economy (CALEC) of the University of Boumerdes, the conference program covers an overview of the strategies and objectives set by the public authorities in the development of the circular economy, international programs related to support for the transition to a green and circular economy in Algeria, and the role of banks and financial institutions in the circular economy. It also includes interventions by economic operators who will present the implementation of their design on the circular economy in the sectors of Construction and Public Works and building materials, hydrocarbons, electricity, and recoverable energies, the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, plastic paper and packaging. Technical visits to the various industrial sites based in Oran will be planned during this conference and will highlight the progress of the circular industry in Algeria, according to the press release.
