Bordj Bou Arreridj: Towards the creation of an industrial cluster for the production of school supplies

According to information received on Thursday from the wilaya, an industrial cluster specializing in the production of school supplies is to be set up in the Belaïd Abdesselam industrial zone in the R'maïl region, in the Ras El Oued commune (south-east of Bordj Bou Arreridj).

The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) has published on a digital platform an offer for 7 industrial plots in the R'maïl area, ranging in size from 5,200 m² to 7,650 m², intended for production of school supplies, stationery and binders, and office equipment.

This project aims to stimulate local investment, encourage the transformation of importers into manufacturers, strengthen national production and create jobs. It also aims to supply the local market with school products at affordable prices and reduce imports. Local authorities, notably the wali Kamel Nouicer, are actively supporting the initiative by creating a favourable climate for serious investors. The R'maïl industrial zone benefits from a strategic location and good road links, making it even more attractive.
