Atlas Power prepares to manufacture 100% Algerian-made high-voltage electrical equipment

The 2025 Exhibition of Ventilation, Electricity, Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Fire Protection (SIVECC) has seen remarkable participation from national and international companies.

The sixth edition of the SIVECC exhibition, which brings together 160 companies from 20 countries, serves as a platform for dialogue on energy transition, technological innovation and industrial cooperation. Algerian company Atlas Power is showcasing advanced high-voltage electrical equipment in collaboration with the Chinese company TaiKai. Preliminary approval has been granted to construct a manufacturing plant in Aïn Témouchent, and land allocation is underway. This facility — the first of its kind in Algeria — aims to supply the domestic market first before targeting exports to Africa.


Atlas Power also plans to nurture young talent in partnership with the University of Aïn Témouchent by setting up a research centre to support the transfer of Chinese technology and the eventual local production of high-voltage equipment. The exhibition provides a strategic opportunity to promote the national industry and develop local expertise.
