President Tebboune stressed the importance of the annual meeting in achieving ambitious targets, including a GDP of $400 billion by 2027 and an increase in industry's share of GDP to 13-14%. He also stressed the need to create a climate conducive to the emergence of a new generation of businessmen, focusing on youth and startups to avoid the corruption-related mistakes of the past.

He welcomed economic measures to reduce harmful practices such as over-invoicing and encouraged export transparency. The President called for investment to be freed up by simplifying processes and resolving real estate issues. He also affirmed that Algeria would not import potatoes and pointed to the progress made in food self-sufficiency.

Among strategic projects, he mentioned the Bechar-Tindouf-Gara Djebilet railroad line, scheduled for the end of the year, and encouraged investment in the tourism sector. Finally, he referred to the decline in non-hydrocarbon exports, emphasizing efforts to reduce imports and strengthen economic partnerships.
