Algeria-Kuwait: commitment to strengthen cooperation in renewable energies

According to a Ministry press release, Noureddine Yassaâ, Secretary of State to the Minister of Energy, in charge of Renewable Energies, met in Kuwait Mahmoud Busheri, Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy of the State of Kuwait, where both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in the field of renewable energies.

The Yassaâ meeting at the 24th RCREEE in Kuwait (February 18-19) focused on energy cooperation between Algeria and Kuwait, emphasising renewable energies and energy efficiency. Both parties expressed their satisfaction with bilateral relations, and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their collaboration, notably through exchanging expertise and developing training programs.

The Secretary of State presented Algeria's progress in renewable energies, highlighting its ambitious solar, wind and green hydrogen program. He underlined the country's goal of becoming a regional hub for clean energy through energy transition projects and international cooperation.
