During an annual meeting organised by the Algerian-British Business Council (ABBC), the leaders stressed that Algeria is experiencing growth and development and called on the UK to support this process. Baroness Symons, former Minister and President of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce highlighted Algeria's modernising and diversifying economy, the favourable business climate and the tax incentives offered by the new investment code. She called for the revitalisation of bilateral relations.

Algerian Ambassador to the UK Noureddine Yazid added that Algeria benefits from political stability and offers many investment opportunities, particularly in start-ups, artificial intelligence and agriculture. He stressed that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's re-election and his commitment to diversifying the economy made the country even more attractive to UK investors.

Olga Maitland, President of the ABBC, described Algeria as a dynamic, creative and innovative country with a vibrant private sector. John Humphrey, UK Trade Commissioner for Africa, assured potential investors of his support throughout the process.

Yacine Bouhara, CEO of the Tell Group investment fund, stated that many Algerian products have a place in the UK market. The organisers concluded by affirming that there is a market to be explored in Algeria and that it is crucial to seize the opportunities.
