Algeria Ferries: End of Dual Pricing for the Diaspora

The issue of fares charged to Algerian travellers, particularly those living abroad, has long been a source of criticism. Many members of the diaspora felt they were paying higher ticket prices depending on where they booked, a situation they considered unfair. The matter was finally brought to the attention of the relevant authorities.

Congressman Tawfik Khedim questioned the Minister of Transportation regarding the discriminatory fare policy applied by Algérie Ferries between Algerians living abroad and those living in Algeria. In response, the minister acknowledged the issue and announced a review of the fare system.

Going forward, ENTMV will apply a single fare for all Algerian citizens, regardless of place of residence, thereby ending this inequality.
